To me, this just shows Ross students places better than their LSA counterparts. A Ross student is probably more prepared, more ambitious, and have certain advantages over Econ/LSA students.

I mean, BB/EB is what most people want. It could be self-selection bias that Ross students tend to dominate BB/EB placements because they're more prepped and have more resources than the LSA/econ students, so the LSA/econ students tend to place across MMs and a few will place BB/EB. I'm sure many Ross students land MM offers as well, but the typical Ross student will be more prepped than the typical LSA/econ student. This isn't to say the LSA/econ students can't place well in BB/EB

i’m umich econ and secured a FT role at a BB.. it all depends on ur performance and how many coffee chats u can get when securing internships or ft. will be harder to get into finance clubs but still doable

In my opinion no, it is all about how you perform in the interviews. there’s typically 2-3 rounds. and each rushee is ranked by how well u did. so if u r at the top of that recruitment list, u will get in regardless of if ur econ and cs or just econ.

hey could I PM you abt FT recruiting? Hoping to do so next year and hope to get any advice
