ECM to PE/VC
Has anyone made the move from ECM to buyside? Obviously different skill sets (no modeling in ECM) but should be doable if modeling experience gained elsewhere.

There are a surprising amount of roles in VC and PE depending on the strategy that aren’t just build a model and due diligence (I’m not talking ops). That being said I think you could get a role like that with ECM or a “non investing” front office role too.
