English speaking Venture Capital
In September I will start my studies in a target University in mainland Europe for a MIM but my German are far from good and from my experience , recruiting in Europe is really regional so I'm in a need of some help for my next steps.
My goal is in 7-6 years time to try and make my own VC fund which will also help with distressed debt in small businesses. For the record I have some entrepreneurial experience ,founding a small business which is still doing good but I exited to continue studying (still in my family though).
What can I do to ensure an intro into the VC scene so I can get some hands on experience of this? Should I even target VC's? Maybe consulting experience is more useful?
Also because the client facing roles are what interests me, what can I do to ensure consideration from English speaking / targeting firms? Maybe a semester in London?
Any help would be golden
bump. Any input? Good or bad
