General Atlantic 2024
Haven't seen a thread for this yet! First rounds are out; I am also wondering what the pathway to GA would be if you were to not recruit directly out of undergrad. Would it better to try IB --> General Atlantic or MM PE --> General Atlantic?
Hi lax933, check out these resources:
More suggestions...
If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
Also interested in learning about 1 year ASO at MM PE -> General Atlantic. Networking best bet or recruiters would be helpful as well?
Really just based on headcount / new teams emerging. They just launched a tech buyout's practice (took one of the Silverlake Partners) and were hiring a bit (not sure now).
Their HH will blast out if new openings
Any more info on heir buyouts team hiring? Heard from a friend right now it seems to be a three person team. Are they expanding further now, and planning to recruit on cycle this coming year? Incoming FT in IB this year and planning to recruit for tech buyouts.
A few offers have been handed out from what I've heard. If you didn't go through undergrad you can do either of the following (obviously exceptions at the higher levels)
1. 2 Year banking --> GA
2. 2 Years banking --> 1 year at MM PE --> GA
3. Previous PE experience --> Business School --> Join GA as a VP
Has anyone heard back following first round?
Have they started for ft 24?
Who do they use for headhunters?
