GLG/3rd Bridge/Alpha Sights Senior Associate Role vs Corporate Finance Project Analyst Role (On Way to Consulting and VC)

Recently left medical school in long-term pursuit of Health care VC. I have a couple of potential opportunities (final interview stages) for a Senior Associate role at a Information Services firm or a Project Analyst role at a large company. If my ultimate goal is to be a Partner in VC on the healthcare side, which choice would you recommend? On the other side of this position, I will need banking or consulting experience. I am leaning towards consulting, since it is the most deterministic path and I have a year's worth of experience doing regulatory consulting for clinical trials.

Side question: If you took one of these positions now (November), would you leave the position to INTERN at a Big 3 consulting firm over the summer?
