Heard that the top growth equity firms (Insight, GA, Summit, Spectrum etc) way overhired and their intern return offer rates were <=50% this year and that full-time recruiting into GE shops has been super tough. What's the story here and how has FT recruiting been going? If nobody's hiring FT and returns are ~50% then where are half the classes going?
