Currently in consulting, but have the opportunity to spend the summer with an emerging growth equity fund manager who makes venture-growth investments. They have some interesting investments, but I haven't spent much time in finance. I think I understand the sourcing aspects of growth, less so the financial know-how to structure a deal.
Could someone provide context around: 1) How internships are structured at the growth equity at the analyst level? 2) What MBA's do in IB associate-level internships? 3) How much modeling goes into growth equity deals (series C+)
