How are the IB, PE and VC industries ( in terms of jobs and deals) in Canada as compared to India?

I'm considering moving to Canada and plan to pursue an MBA from there in around a couple of years. I have approx. 3 years of work experience in the PE space

Canada has a growing VC ecosystem with a few players that perform reasonably well on the global stage.

Fund like Version One, OMERS Ventures, BDC cap, and Portage are pretty decent. Global funds fairly frequently invest into Canadian companies. The ecosystem is very nascent compared to developed venture markets and earlier stage funding is much more limited with lower capital availability across the board. This obviously also impacts later stage flow.

Silicon Valley has created a feedback loop composed of a pipeline of talent from top universities, the training ground of entry level FANG positions, a cultural reverence for starting a company, and an abundance of capital. Canada is a long way from this.

Don’t know the Indian market well enough to provide any relative insight.
