How important is starting out at a larger company vs a Startup out of college?
How important is starting out a larger company if you plan to be a financial analyst out of college? For career growth? Personal/development in terms of building your skills? I'm interning for this startup, and its in the series A stage. I believe in its growth and I like the team a lot. I may have the opportunity to work here full time out of college, but I am weighing the risks vs starting out in a larger company. The biggest concerns I have is not being able to learn as much in a less unstructured environment (and of course startup failing).
Also, what about differences in series A vs B vs pre-IPO, etc vs Fortune 500?
very important. Exception: you went to a top ivy, then it matters much less.
I got to a top school in the West Coast. But why does going to a top IVY matter? Thanks.
Is the top school Stanford?
