How sourcing heavy is growth equity?
I will be a summer analyst at GS/MS this summer but am much more interested in working on the buy-side and specifically with high-growth companies. As such, I am trying to learn more about growth equity and have understood that some analyst positions are quite sourcing-heavy.
Are all analyst positions in growth equity purely sourcing through cold-calling or are there firms where you primarily work with analysing companies and execution?
