How to break into the top VC shops from PE
Have seen some people join VCs (e.g. Sequoia) from PE backgrounds recently, compared to before it seemed like recruiting was focused on people with operating / start-up experience. Does anyone have insight into whether the top VCs recruit from HHs or is it mostly a cold-emailing / networking game? And why there's a shift in target background for VC / GE?
