How to break into VC

Previously did 6-month off-cycle internship in lower middle market PE investing in B2B application software and fintech ($300M AUM).

Just accepted another 6-month off-cycle internship at a BB as a risk analyst.

The brand name is great but role-wise, it feels like a huge downgrade to what I was doing before, but it's what I ended up with after months of interviewing with investment banks, private credit firms, etc.

What's the best way for me to break into gaming VC, like a16z games fund one?
