How to leverage skills from IB/VC

Fellow monkeys,

I have some downtime during covid and was wondering what kind of business I could create to leverage my skills from IB/VC. It would be nice to start working on a personal project now. Also what some entrepreneurial exits might be down the road after IB/VC/GE gigs.

I am considering a variety of options and would like to hear suggestions, preferably about remote opportunities but I am open. Would love to hear about your experience.

Thanks,

If you’re looking for some entrepreneurial projects, you could consider starting your own seed fund or search fund. I know there’s a whole community of search fund investors who are willing to make decent-sized commitments.

Many search funds will have a list of their investors on their websites, so you can check those out. You’ll likely become familiar with many names. One that comes to mind is Endurance Search Partners. They’ve worked with many search fund partners.
