It's not as easy as that - VC is far more volatile and depends on the performance of funds and specific investments. IB is much more predictable but without much likelihood of really seeing a hockey stick upside. VC definitely has the potential to make extraordinary wealth, far more than in IB, but that's not aways the case (far from it).
On average I'm really not sure. It would be interesting but only academically. The decision between the two is more your risk / reward view (and dozens of other things)
