I’m a little more than a year in as a principal. There was a mismatch between expected coverage and actual coverage and I’m not too happy about it.

It depends how much you trust that firm and the people you're speaking with. Generally, I think most folks are pretty discreet so I wouldn't worry too much. Obviously don't use your firm email for recruiting and keep it discreet.
