Interesting VC firms?

Aside from the big names such as Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, NEA, IVP, etc., which VC firms are making interesting investments?

Some that come to mind:

Lux Capital

Spark Capital

Thrive

Data Collective

Greenspring

Social Capital

Dragoneer

Valor Equity

Playground Global

DST

Greycroft

Also, most of these funds are still big names in VC lol...some funds like sequoia or a16z are more known to the general public but most of these funds are pretty popular in VC circles.

An actually interesting fund imo is Activant, a lot of their investments are into interesting companies that aren't huge names (no idea how performance is)

Can you elaborate more on why you think Activant is so interesting? It looks like a few of there portfolio companies were ranked top startups of 2020.

It seems like the angle they use in sourcing is more of a top down process. My impression is they focus on interviewing industry/corporate experts in their target sectors first and try to become knowledgeable before finding companies. I could be wrong and it's just a marketing ploy to attract founders/LPs, but generally seems like a knowledgeable and research-driven shop. I'm curious to know if this is common in VC/Growth because Activant looked interesting to me as well based off surface-level interactions?

Isn't ICONIQ the fund that has a ton of tech billionaire investors, including Zuckerberg?
