Looking For a Job in VC - How Do I Reach Out? (Intern)
Hey,
I am currently studying finance in Ontario and about to finish my last year.
I have run my own painting franchise, built and sold a property management company, sold two real estate properties on behalf of brokers, and currently a digital marketer intern at a small company not in my own city. (really wanted experience in another city, not my favourite industry or company, but that's because I didn't have many networks and didn't realize the value of this until I moved here for the summer)
I love startups and try to go to or volunteer at as many networking events as I can.
I want to get a job in the VC realm, (preferably Toronto) how should I reach out to team members of the VC firm? What is my initial pitch? Do they hire? Do I have the experience and if not how would I go about getting more in this field?
I'm all ears.
