MBB Knowledge Management to IB/VC. Is it possible?
Hi all! I'm new here and I hope someone answers this major query of mine. I'm a knowledge analyst in with BCG Knowledge (back office of BCG) and my area of practice is Private Equity. I've had one IB internship during my undergrad. I'm also taking the CFA level 1 this December. What are the chances of switching to IB/VC or maybe even PE after a while? If I go in for an MSc Finance or MBA will it be easier for me to switch?
If you have less than 2 years of FT then go for the MSc rather than MBA. Also, what do yo do exactly? Research?
Limited research, mostly going through old cases and picking out what info can be reused by the consultants.
