MM Bank or Top Growth Equity Firm for SA?
Please help. For SA, would you choose a M&A at a MM bank (think Raymond James), or a SA at a top MM firm where all the associates were ex-ivy guys and ex top-BB/EB, people?
If I went to the MM I just plan on lateraling to a BB for FT. But with the growth firm, I don't think I'd need to go anywhere for a bit. My long term goals are top B-school.
Please help!
IMO, depends on if the growth equity position is more of a "dialing for dollars" type role where the majority of what you do is cold call / source. If so, would go for the MM bank. If not, probably growth equity. Just my perspective, personally.
Thanks for your reply. I don't think it is a sourcing-heavy shop like Summit.
Do you have any idea on the exit ops from growth equity? I've been told it is how I pidgeon hole myself.
