MM IB to Tech Growth / VC
SA at a MM IB Tech Group (Not a Jef/Blair/Baird/HL). I really do believe that I'm very hard working and have a true passion for tech/software but didn't realize this until after SA recruiting ended and the only offer I got was for a MM tech group.
Is it even possible to lateral from MM IB to a fund like GA, Insight, Summit, Bessemer, SGE, KKR Growth, BX Growth, Accel-KKR? Or a flashy, sexy VC like Sequoia, BOND, a16z, Accel?
Should I be looking for FT Analyst opportunities if it's even possible? Feeling lost right now as I'm just now realizing how passionate I am for software and would love to be doing something working with more interesting companies rather than these small companies where 100 of the same ones exist. Any insights?
