Opinion - offer from small growth equity shop vs LP at multi-family office
Received a low-ball offer from a growth equity shop writing checks of $10-15m into profitable businesses. Currently an LP at a multi-family not doing co-invest or direct deals of any sort. Is this is no brainer to go get direct deal experience? Latest fund at growth shop is waiting to see final multiple and next fund not raised yet so some risk there but again....do it to get the experience?
