PE/VC Recruitment: HC Strategy Firm or Big 4?

Hi all,

I had a question with regards to the potential for European PE/VC recruitment in the future. In terms of "prestige" or reputation, would the chances be greater from a HC-focused strategy consulting firm (think Health Advances/ClearView Partners/ZS Associates) or the HC MC team of a Big 4 (traditional Big 4 MC teams not S&, PEY or Monitor)?

Currently in the former group with the potential to move to the latter and goals of doing HC PE/VC a couple of years down the line.

Cheers!

I would definitely stay with the former group, especially if it's ClearView. Not sure of brand strength in Europe but it's strong in the U.S. Strategy will always transfer better to PE/VC than traditional MC (advisory).
