Physical Commodity Broking Startup

We are putting together a team for a small firm to trade in commodities between mines and industrial users. Additionally we are going to be storing and broking rare earth elements in vaults in Dubai.

We are building a transparent spot marketplace for the trading of commodities by the shipload. By being transparent about pricing we will attract customers and be able to sign long term supply contracts.

These long term supply and delivery contracts will be owned by us and hedged with traditional commodities trading. Instead of taking a commission on trading we will take sales commissions on the booking of ships paid by preferred shipowners.

Our goal is to enable the free flow of information and pricing on mined commodities.

Additionally a second phase of growth will be hedging Sharia compliant funds into the purchase of a broad range of the less traded rare earths. These will be stockpiled and a fixed market price set based on industrial demand. This allows a manufacturer to have a reliable supply outside of China and will encourage production and proper conservation in industry outside China. The Sharia investors receive a percentage of the profit from holding the portfolio of rare earths. We profit by buying rare earths as supply increases(prices fall), making the prices more stable for producers to encourage long term production outside China.

Our profit from activities will be reinvested in takeovers of under-capitalized junior miners during down markets. We feel after several years of stable growth that we will change the dynamics of world trading in mined commodities.

If you are a brilliant key player wanting to accept the risk and challenge of starting a company this is for you. The company is based in the middle east but you will work remotely.
