Pre vs post-money multiple analysis

When determining a growth financing round, using comparable transaction multiples as proxy. Do you generally use the pre or post-money valuation to divide by a metric? E.g. should the value of my target company be based on a multiple of: pre-money EV/revenue or post-money EV/revenue
