Private Credit to Growth Equity/Late Stage VC

Hey all, I'm an associate at a top PC/DL shop in NY/LA/SF and really want to make the switch to tech growth investing. I've done a lot of technology creditdeals this past year and really enjoy them. Has anyone made this move before? I know its not common but wanted to see if anyone had any advice on preparing and positioning myself.

Did you end up making the jump? Curious since I'm in a similar boat. Feels like moving to late stage VC / growth would mean a pretty meaningful pay cut...

When the world's political and economic situation is unstable, especially when war or economic crisis occurs, various common investment tools such as stocks, funds, etc. will be severely impacted. At this time, gold has a good hedging property. Even in the face of an economic crisis, the price of gold can remain unchanged or even rise steadily, maintaining the value of assets. With the continuous mining of gold deposits and the continuous increase in demand, gold has become more scarce, enhancing its own hedging properties.
