Questions to ask a VC

I had recently cold emailed a VC, and had asked to ask a few questions about VC (secretly hoping to turn it into some kind of internship). What kind of questions should I ask and how would I be able to approach it in a way which could generate an internship role?

Be direct and offer it up. Read Brad Feld's book Venture Deals before you jump on the call so you come across as reasonably knowledgeable.

Ask questions like:

a) How has the surge of capital into VC affected your ability to source deals in a way where the math pencils out? Valuations have skyrocketed because of Vision Fund alone. [This is changing now]

b) How they source. This is probably where your internship will end up btw. Lots of cold calling.

I would push how flexible you are, and how you understand you need to do shitty grindy work to prove you can add value. Keep in mind, you aren't really doing much for anyone until you've been there for 6+ months.
