Silver Lake VC Investments

Does anyone know if there's a separate team that handles VC, or does the team that does buyout also do VC deals at Silver Lake? If so, any idea on culture for the VC team and performance? I know they mostly do late stage deals and had some bad investments (like Thrasio) and deployed a lot of money at the peak of the bubble, but apparently they are in the market for fund VII at 25B so if they're able to raise the money it'll be interesting to deploy it and take advantage of lower valuations. Any insights are appreciated.
