Sophomore VC Internship - Secured!

I don't want to talk too much about myself here, as my story here is small compared to some of the struggles others on this board went through to get not an intern position, but a FT offer.

As a CS major with no finance/consulting experience whatsoever, this forum has been extremely helpful in providing me advice for potential interview questions, and resources I should look into.
However, for every person who helped me (I'm very grateful to all of them), there have been a few discouraging posts.

Although it is important to be realistic, you can also make the unexpected happen by staying ready at all times, even halfway through the month of May when you think all hope for any summer position is lost (as I thought). Just wanted to make this post to let other young college students know that it's not necessary to rule out fields like VC (and other buy side jobs) if that is your immediate goal as an undergraduate.

Please do PM me for questions if you have any or if you want more information. I'm happy to help anyone.
