Worked in IB out of school, left to help start a company where I’ve been for 3 years. I’m looking to get back into finance and concerned because I haven’t taken a paycheck for 1.5 years in interest of preserving what little runway we had as a company. Am I totally fucked for background checks even if my CEO vouches for me?
