Susquehanna Growth Equity Insights - 2025

Saw an older thread but wanted to get some updated views/insights on SGE in 2025.

How does SGE compare to larger growth shops like GA, Insight, Summit, Spectrum, etc? Same exits/comp/respect? I understand SIG is a very well-respected name, but how does SGE compare?

Any insights on comp/WLB?

Can I go from SGE -> M7 MBA -> CorpDev / Product Mgmt / Mgmt role in Fortune 500 company? I understand if I want to go into CorpDev then IB would be a better choice but unsure if the SIG name will carry any significance with MBA apps. Thanks for the help

sge doesn't do fundraising, as their capital comes from sig's balance sheet, so a lot more flexibility with investment time horizons and the companies the firm can invest in.

firm culture and pay is also great and they focus heavily on employee retention, so i would give it a go, and if you decide to pivot careers, then the name shouldn't hold you back at all, especially if you have deals you can speak of. if you are on the investment team when they score a bytedance style win again, then all the more power to you!

Not sure about their HHs, but they post their jobs on LinkedIn and on select Target School Handshakes.

Otherwise, the team there is very lean, so networking would also be a good bet.

It's a great place to work and a very fun organization.
