Tech Associate PM to VC?
Hi,
I have an offer from a top associate product management program (think google/fb/twitter/uber), but I'm interested in exploring vc. I love product management, and I'd definitely be excited to have a career in it, but I find venture capital to be extremely intriguing as well. I interned at a small one (<50m capital) freshman year, and I loved the experience. Do any top vc (sequoia, nea, andreesen, kpcb etc.) firms offer interviews for ~pre-mba associate level positions to people who go through these 2-3 year programs?
Thanks
Also, i have the choice in between selecting the ny office and sf office. I want to try living in new york for a year (i can rotate to an sf team if i want to after a year), would that hurt me in my vc job search?
Bump
