Tech Startup Internship Interview - Wardrobe

I've only spoken with these guys on the phone. I'd normally wear a suit to an interview, but I've also never worked at a start-up.

Slacks and a button-up only? Suit with no tie? Cargo pants, New Balances, and a vest? I have a feeling that it's gonna be an informal-ish crowd.

If they say business casual, go suit/no tie. If they don't tell you, wear a suit and bring a tie with you. If they don't say anything, there's no way to know what to expect. You could always call their office and just ask the secretary (if there is one) what's appropriate. If they say jeans and a t-shirt, I'd go with slacks and a button down at least, just to make sure.

Yea but interviews for business positions aren't the same as for coding positions. That's especially true for entry-level positions. I'm assuming because he's posting here he's aiming for a biz position
