Tech Startup..then Wall Street?
So I graduated from a top-25 "target to semi-target" school last May. I had one legit internship at a small Management consulting firm (did a competitive analysis for a client trying to expand) and tried to apply for some banking jobs. Problem: my GPA was (and is) only 3.20 (Double-major in Math/Econ..upper level Math combined with too much going out killed me). Anyway, I landed an ok job as an analyst at a tech startup doing analytics projects for healthcare companies but the comp is nowhere near finance (esp living in NYC). Almost a year later I am trying to apply again to sales/trading jobs/anything I can get...Anyone ever heard of someone going tech startup then Wall Street /Banking or should I give up because I missed the boat?
