VC Investment Memo Template

Does anyone have an old VC investment Memo, or a template of one that they would be willing to share? I'm looking to get a better understanding of how they're structured and maybe try to put together a few of my own. I've already exhausted google searches and wanted to get some insight from the WSO community.

I can't share a document but I can tell you how it's structured, usually a slide deck anywhere between 30-50 slides depending on content, this one is an IC ready memo, so the earlier you are in the process the less info there will be.

  1. Section 1: Executive summary - summarizing the whole deck (1-2 slides max)
  2. Section 2: Company overview - company history, key stats, biz model, management, competition, edge, historical financials (5-10 slides)
  3. Section 3: Market overview - market outline (how is industry growing, what are key trends, where is the biz model picking up, industry analysis on this specific sector and if it's a sub sector go there, deep dive on competitive landscape and competitive edge (5-10 slides)
  4. Section 4: Business Plan - includes strategy going forward, projected financials (base, upside and downside cases), post investment plans
  5. Deal Structure - includes deal summary, returns analysis, valuation comps, etc

Thats it roughly.
