VC out of undergrad recruiting

I'm currently a sophomore with an upcoming summer internship at a Tier 1 VC firm. Unfortunately, my firm hires very few analysts out of undergrad, so I'm starting the process of recruiting for a junior year internship. Since venture doesn't have a set recruiting schedule, I've mostly just been networking with associates / VPs at firms I know hire analysts. I was wondering if anyone had any general advice about strategies to approach recruiting other than just building networks at a lot of firms and hoping for the best
