Currently with a cleantech-focused VC firm. Have been approached multiple times by a recruiter at Point72 to interview for energy PMs building out cleantech expertise. Don’t come from IB or PE background. Consulting to VC path, with strong thematic expertise in cleantech. Ivy League degree. Is this even worth pursuing with my background? Feels like a stretch. Have also been approached by Citadel to interview for similar role.

As someone at p72 with a complete brick on my team with respect to industry knowledge, EQ, *and* IQ, I can confirm that you have at least 1-3 years wiggle room to coast on a ridiculous salary before being canned.
