Venture capital vs corporate development exit opportunities
I'm a junior investment banker who's currently trying to decide between an exit opportunity in the corporate development & strategy team at a F500 financial services firm (modelling, strategic projects, M&A) or an analyst role in a small VC (sourcing, modelling, due diligence). Both have small, entrepreneurial cultures and I like the people in both teams. I want to choose the role that would keep the most doors open for me in the long run, so I wanted to know about people's experiences in terms of the skills they picked up in venture capital and how transferrable they are. I also wanted to know about MBA admissions from venture capital roles. Thank you!
bump.
