West Coast Startup / Tech Compensation?

I'm poking around the market at some corporate development / strategy finance manager positions on the West Coast and am wondering what's an acceptable target compensation range? I'm sure it varies firm to firm, but do any of you all have some insight on what's a good range?

For example, I'm interviewing with a late stage startup targeting about ~$170k in base and don't really have an idea if that's good or not for the area. Thanks!
