My impression is comp at crossover funds (Tiger, Coatue, etc) is comparable to the hedge fund side of the house. Those are very lean teams, I think Tiger only has like 10-15 people working on private markets side, which is crazy since they’re the most prolific name in the biz.

Please don’t work for SoftBank. You will be seen as a joke if you ever try to leave.

Lol why would I be seen as a joke for working at Softbank? They're pretty deep into emerging markets for example, one of the few VC funds who give open access to them plus they're the big man on campus on almost every deal. Just playing devil's advocate btw, just trying to learn.
