Advice: Transitioning from Wealth Management to Sales and Trading
Hi all:
I am looking for some advice regarding a transition from Wealth Management to Sales and Trading.
My educational background is in Computer Information Systems and Data Analytics. I have been in wealth management at a Bulge Bracket bank for over 2 years after graduating and would love to see myself transition to a bit more technical role as my passion lies in trading and relationship management.
Has anyone had experience with a lateral move like this or some type of transition?
I'd greatly appreciate any guidance on how to approach this along with developing any new skills required.
Thank you
Would be helpful to known what you are doing in WM. And are you at MS GWM in Whichita, KS? Or JPM Private Bank NYC. WM is a huge field.
Happy to help, was a long road but I made this move
