Breaking into Institutional Wealth Management
Hi,
First time posting here. I am interviewing for a wealth management internship for a top 20 (AUM) bank, and understand there is an opportunity to work in the institutional wealth division. I would like to know how I can leverage an interview with the hiring manager to land in the institutional wealth division?
My background is in financial econometrics and monetary policy, with intermediate coding skills - but I handle my modeling (main strengths are time series analysis, financial statements, and portfolio analysis) with a deep understanding of what’s “going on under the hood.” I am also currently studying for the cfa level 1 exam.
What could I leverage? Or what questions can I ask to help land in my area of preference?
Thanks!
