is PFM Financial Advisors a bad place to work???

I struck out on recruiting this year (senior year) and felt like i was totally effed on getting into finance. But i got an offer from this place called PFM to be an analyst in there financial advisory practice and even though I'm not big on public finance i know beggers cant be choosers and their training program sounded legit from what the HR person said.

Does any WSO peep know about PFM? Starting pay is kinda trash at ~65k all in for HCOL city and some analysts there I spoke to did not sound excited at all tbh, but would it be worth doing for a year or so to lateral into an analyst position in public finance banking?
