JP Morgan PB hours (SOlutions)
Hey guys, wondering if anyone has insights on this? Hear that the work hours are brutal even for Private Banking analysts. Is it any better/worse for the Solutions people? Anyone have a range of hours or does it vary widely between the different teams in Solutions? Office in NYC btw.

Current analyst at JPM. Work hours follow time periods typically. Year-end/Quarterly end will always be tough - I was averaging 7 30am-8/9pm regularly.
is this for private bank solutions? thats pretty nasty for PB
private bank solutions usually end up a little earlier say around 7 30 -8. However, it is quite a bit more intense as you are essentially a touch point for every single banker in the PB so you have to be in the zone to answer questions/provide resources which is the main functionality of those teams.

What is comp looking like at the junior levels? 60 hour work weeks seems like you should be paid the same as ER guys I'd think

100/105/110 base with a bonus being anywhere from 2-4 months gross salary. So that would put it anywhere from 16-32k with the recent increases.
Base is 100 for 1st year, then goes to 110 for 2nd year, then 115 for 3rd year.
do you know if PB 1st year analysts will be bumped to 110 starting this summer?
Hey all, what are the exit opportunities for the Solutions teams from the PM and trading teams? Sell-side trading/AM? Any buyside opps?
PB hours can be brutal at JPM. Solutions support all the integrated teams (bankers, investors) and they are understaffed. The bank keeps hiring more revenue generating teams but the headcount at solutions hasn’t kept up. Hours can be 12 hours long.
Integrated teams can be even worse, especially the bankers who cover clients who are in different time zones. I know some teams who pull 16+ hours daily and are burned out.
This is a little bit concerning considering comp doesn’t seem to add up. Do you have any insight on where Solutions analysts tend to exit to? Thank you so much.
