A friend of mine just got a SA position at a BB PWM in NYC, and I'm real happy for him. But the compensation is through the roof! 70k prorated, plus 50% overtime plus 2k for relocation and flight expenses. sounds like a banking internship compensation! is this normal for PWM? Suddenly i feel my banking pay ain't that good a deal...

Sound like MS or BAML, this is common for certain banks though. But, banks like GS, and JPM only gives 70k prorated and 1-1.5K relocation with no overtime.
wow... seems like a good deal, less hours, comparable base pay... didn't know PWM was so lucrative...
Thats amazing.. for PWM I have never heard of such pay... the 70k isnt as unheard of as that OT... pretty good... what firm is he working at if you dont mind saying??? otherwise tell him hes a lucky fuck! haha
