Wealth Management Recruiting Season?

I’ve been lurking on this forum for awhile and noticed that there’s been a lack of major superdays for wealth management discussed, while most other positions like audit or financial analyst are already done thier recruiting seasons. I’ve applied for wealth management basically at every major bank/financial firm in the US way back in September (Bank of America, UBS, Deutsche, etc.) and haven’t heard anything bank from them. The only bank I’ve heard back from was JP. So my question is, is the recruiting season for wealth management later or am I just out of luck and the recruiting is already done?

If you don't hear back, keep following up every week or two until you do. Also, don't underestimate an internship at a small firm. I did this for a while, only believing that having an internship at the biggest or best firm would get me a job finance after school. But I realized that most firms (not all), don't care so much as to where you gained experience, but that fact that you gained experience, period. So reach out to small shops in NYC ( I'm assuming that's the nearest major city you live close to), and also shops where you live well. You might have better luck there.

Good point! Sense I haven’t heard back from many firms I’ve applied basically anywhere and everywhere in the NYC and Philly area. I’ve been interning at my local UBS firm for the past 2 years in the wealth management department and I really want to coninue to work in this field. I’m going to focus on reaching out to local FA’s to see if they have positions open! I was just curious to know if the major banks did thier recruiting for wealth management yet as I’ve heard virtually nothing about superdays for Bank of America, Wells Fargo, UBS, etc in that field.
