Career Resources
longleytimothy, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Maybe one of these threads could point you in the right direction:
Hope that helps.
Also curious
probably same as this year, Apps close first/second week of September, then interviews towards the end of September & First or Second week of October and the offers by Mid/Late October for full time.
How about for interns (junior yr)? Are they rolling?
Apps usually close around late September and interviews are mid-late October after full time recruiting is done
Are they already open?
^
Depends completely on your school. If you're at a target school, look out for emails in the Fall. If unsure, contact your school's Career Center, they will have dates for info sessions and application deadlines.
For MBB UK:
Interns (penultimate year): Apps open beginning of Jan -> Apps close end of Jan
Full-time (final year): Apps open mid Sep -> Apps close end of Oct
For my MBB, these are all non-rolling; they don't look at your application until the deadline.
Have any of you guys starting prep for case interviews? I was thinking of starting to next week.
How do you plan on prepping?
My internship isn't super strenuous so I am going to read Case In Point from a pdf file randomly throughout the day. Then I'm going to practice cases with my friends after work. One person administers, the other will answer and then we switch. I'm also going to reach out to alumni on LinkedIn.
Does anyone know what the timeline is for lateral hires? What if you're 1 year out of school looking to apply. Do we apply with the Full Time people September into Oct or is it rolling / need-based basis?
Rolling/need-based
For US advanced degree candidates (PhD, MD, JD), Bain's deadline is July 12, McKinsey's is July 14, and while I can't find an exact deadline for BCG, it is mid-July as well.
