2021 NYC SA Housing Situation

I have to be in NYC this summer and I am absolutely lost on housing. Pretty much looking at Airbnb because Craiglist is very strange (every listing seemed creepy or near-illegal) and hotels are out of the question. How do I go about this? I am desperate for assistance.

check on Facebook groups (search NYU Sublets/Off-Campus Housing), there are plenty of people listing their places for the summer. You should be able to find something for a very reasonable price.
