How any of you guys have tried microdosing shrooms or other self shroom medication

Even if your intention was not for "medication" purposes and you felt it altered your life please share.

Need details like: qty; before, during or after work; how long changes with dosage or periods of time

I tried microdosing lsd for a while and it felt pretty great. Helped me keep an edge, but I'm also a chronic wine drinker/weed smoker so maybe that's not a great base to start from.

It took the edge off my drinking and smoking enough to let me function professionally and excel vs my peers as an analyst. Probably exacerbated the root problem though so, pros and cons.

I micro-dosed shrooms a few times. I experimented with it as therapy. During those times I realized that I didn’t like how it made me feel and didn’t help me improve in any area.

I microdosed LSD a bit during college wasn't a mind blowing experience or anything I also did a full dose which also wasn't mind blowing, drugs are so mainstream even LSD, there is an aesthetic to drugs but there isn't an aesthetic to using drugs, you aren't enlightened because you microdose LSD bro, it's more interesting of an aesthetic to be straight edge not touching anything no drugs no alcohol that's an aesthetic that I can get behind, the smoking and drinking is an aesthetic that was sold to you by pop culture and the LSD was sold to you by counter culture, who sold me straight edge don't touch anything, no one did, it's a more interesting aesthetic, maybe your mind will be more blown after one month of putting nothing harmful in your body than it would be after microdosing LSD for a week or two and having some 'mind blowing' realizations

I personally love weed, but know that I have a tendency to use it as a crutch to feel good when I know I can do more productive things like meditation, working out and going to therapy. It also makes my memory and sleep quality go to shit, so there's that.

I used to think that having 1 glass of wine/whiskey everyday was OK. Still not sure how I feel about it, but curious as to your thoughts on that.

that doesn't seem that bad, I'm more talking about binge drinking, binge drinking is why alcohol is incredibly destructive, not because of being able to drink 1 glass of a drink a night

Technically alcohol is just liquid calories until hitting .08 BAC which is the point where your body treats it as poison and can cause damage to the body and liver.

noone ever microdoses lsd to get mind blown... and if didn't get your mind blown on a full dose you probably didn't take enough. also your post is nearly incomprehensible, the last 3/4 of the single running sentence is just gibberish

let me try and repeat more clearly. smoking and drinking is clearly mainstream, psychedelics are also mainstream because they are what is supposed to be counter culture, maybe you will be the most mind blown if you don't put anything harmful in your body

I'm in the camp that microdosing is probably bullshit. You take something that is supposed to be conscious-altering and profound, then dilute it down so you don't feel the effects? Seems very banal to me. You're better off reading up on it a bit and actually tripping. Just my 2 cents
