Accenture Strategy vs. ZS Associates vs. Intel vs. Deloitte Human Capital (Compensation)

Hi!

I'm deciding between offers from Accenture Strategy, ZS Associates (Business Analyst), Intel Finance, and Deloitte Human Capital (Compensation).

I want to be able to go to a top 5-top 10 business school after three years and was wondering what you guys' opinions were on these offers.

Thanks!

Going with one of the consulting offers, you will be compared against a whole lot of other consultants, including a lot from MBB.

With the Intel offer, you have a real blue-chip F500 name on your resume, which bschools love. You'll be compared against a smaller group of people, plus you'll be at the top of the stack instead of the bottom.

The three consulting firms do all place well into business school though, so I would go by where you think you'll enjoy the work the most and excel enough to get promotions and stellar recs.

Which offer did you end up taking? I was actually in a similar position as you and ended up choosing ZS at the San Diego office. Where are you finishing your undergrad at?

TDS2006 doesn't know what he's talking about. Deloitte has ~90% success rate with M7 business schools. H/S/W have a ton of Deloitte people too. There's quite a few Accenture and ZS Associates people here too.

Is your Deloitte offer in Deloitte Consulting or in Deloitte Advisory? If Consulting, I'd say take Deloitte. If advisory, I'd say take Accenture Strategy.

Go with the company that: -Was harder to get an offer from -Is in a bigger metropolitan city (like NYC) -Gave you more case interviews -Had more intelligent people when you were interviewing

DON'T look at Vault rankings. Look at LinkedIn. See for yourself how many people got into M7 from that particular company / group / office. I don't know which offices you got your offers from but I would seriously consider ZS Associates. I met with a bunch of smart people when I was interviewing with them.
