Admission requirements

Hi

Almost every MSc program require an upper second class honours, at least that's what it seems like.

My question is: What, in practice, does it take to get admitted to LSE, Oxford, Warwick (a school I'm particularly interested in), Imperial etc? Can you really get admitted with "only" a 2.1, or is that a theoretical requirement while in practice you need a first class honours?

Also, what kind of other things would they take into account? Are you screwed if you don't have any internship experience?

/John

I talked to a representative from LSE this September and he clearly stated a few times that LSE has strong preference for academic achievements any work experience is almost not necessary. This also means that you will have more competition GPA wise and you will not be able to compensate by good work experience. Also don't forget that GMAT is almost the only thing that in the end will separate those with 3.7+GPA.. I can't say anything about the other schools you mentioned.
